In January 1997 I made two 'JAN97' treble boosters (type 1 and type 2) which I personally delivered along with my 3 Red Special replica guitars to Brian May at his London studio in November 1997. Brian used my 3 Red Special replica guitars 'John', 'Paul' and 'George Burns' and the JAN97 treble boosters to complete the recording of his album 'Another World' which was released in June 1998.
The Fryer guitars and treble boosters were used by Brian May in many live performances during 1998 and beyond. Brian's JAN97 type 1 booster was pictured in the Total Guitar UK Christmas 1998 edition.
